CozeeCoo® is a wearable blanket, registered with the US FDA as a medical device. Designed to safely and comfortably hold a baby's hands below the chest, the CozeeCoo® also retains movement in the arms, elbows, hips and legs. Due to the range of movement, the CozeeCoo® can be worn while sleeping -even when rolling. It works while diaper changing and safely in car seats. It's made from 100% organic cotton from the fabric to the sew-in interfacing and labels.

Tampering with pediatric medical devices such as NAM devices, cleft taping, ngtubes (feeding tubes), endotracheal tubes (breathing tubes), vital signs monitors, oxygen saturation monitors, IVs, long lines, orthopedic braces, etc.
Scratching and rubbing due to eczema (atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis...), allergies, hives, Hand Foot Mouth Disease (HFMD), healing wounds, etc., which can lead to additional injuries and infections
Interrupted sleep due to the urge to scratch, touch medical devices, healing sites, of the Moro Reflex (startle reflex) and the need for a snug embrace that can mimic the womb
Detrimental self-stimulating (stimming) such as severe hair pulling (Trichotillomania), hitting or thumb sucking which can cause dental malocclusion (misalignments), speech impediments and skin irritations
Elbow immobilizer arm brace side effects such as the ability to still touch the face, self removal (84% of babies remove arm braces according to a recent QIP survey) and discomfort, which can also affect sleep.
Blanket swaddling side effects such as overheating, heat plus friction which can make conditions like eczema worse, hip dysplasia (hip dislocation), the inability to reposition while sleeping, increased risk of suffocation if the blanket becomes loose, decreased arousal and underdeveloped muscles

Care Instructions:

Laundry machine washer (cold water) and dryer safe. Tumble dry on low heat or dry flat. Otherwise shrinking can occur. We recommend using a fragrance-free detergent (if it's also a dye-free and artificial brighteners-free detergent that is even better). Do not bleach. Iron Safe.

Materials:

100% certified (GOTS®) organic cotton fabric is used throughout the garment including the sew-in interfacings and labels. The metal snaps are nickel-free and lead-free tested. To ensure a snug and effective fit we use one 3" long piece of rubber-free elastic, braided in 100% organic cotton, and then covered in the GOTS® certified 100% cotton fabric.

This was a game changer for us

After months of battling with trying to get my 5 month old son to stop rubbing the broken and infected skin on his face because of his eczema, and after countless efforts to try to swaddle him creatively with extra bands around him and pinning his arms down when we carried him, played with him or fed him, I finally found a product that was a real game changer. This Cozeecoo garment was able to restrain his arms away from his face. I don’t know how to describe how relieved my husband and I were when we saw how it worked so well. Essentially the way this garment is designed, “restrains” your babies arms from being able to move above a certain height or above his chest level because the cloth goes from behind his back to the front of his arms. The moment I saw how it worked, I immediately ordered 2 more. This helped my baby to recover so much faster and to break the cycle of the rubbing and aggravating the eczema. I highly recommend this to every parent struggling with trying to get your baby to stop scratching. Loads of thanks to Qiao Qing for making this available to us here. ❤️

Good investment

Cozeecoo really helps to keep my little one's hands from clawing the eczema flare on her face. She could initially slip her hands out of one sleeve but all we had to do was stitch up the sleeves a little more and that worked. It also helps alot when we apply medication on her before bedtime because her hands won't be able to rub the creams off. Good investment! Will get another once she outgrows the current size!

No regrets

It’s definitely on the pricey side but it’s so worth it! My baby is able to move her hands in CozeeCoo.

I am at my wits end, and I can’t be swaddling my baby the whole day. At times I have to stuff her hands in the pants to keep her hands away from her face. At night she hates swaddling and I felt like I have never slept because I have to hold her hands. I’m really glad to have found this! She sleeps so much better! And I can leave her to play by herself for a while without watching like a hawk. Thank you!

I knew I had to get the Cozeecoo as a last resort when my daughter was still scratching her face till it bled every morning. We needed to secure her hands safely and this was the best way.

When we first started wearing it, she would cry till she vomited. Our heart broke but we knew that was for her best interest. Every time she wore it, I would cuddle her and sing songs till she fell asleep. After 2-3 weeks, she got used to it and readily puts her hand in! Now she sleeps safely without scratching herself using her hands. Thank you for making Cozeecoo a readily available product!

A Must-Have Product for Skin Recovery!

I am so grateful to Qiao Qing for recommending me this. In the beginning, I was using muslin cloth swaddle and the zip swaddle for my eczema baby to stop him from scratching his ears and face. However, the constant movements caused the fabric to rub against his chin and neck and worsened the eczema. With the cozeecoo, it wraps around at the back, and doesn't come into contact with the skin around the face. It really helped my baby to heal by restraining his arms.

Even though his eczema is better now, he still itches every night. On days when he has redness on the face, I would use the cozeecoo. By restraining his arms, it helps his skin recover faster at night. I also find that he sleeps better since movements are limited.

All eczema babies should have one of this!
